Chamomile is one of the most well-known stress soothing herbs. The active component apigenin in chamomile acts as a natural tranquilizer.
The sedative nature of the plant calms nerves and reduces anxiety.
Lemon balm is a calming herb that has been used as far back as the Middle Ages to reduce stress and anxiety, promote sleep, improve appetite, and ease pain and discomfort from indigestion.
Anise can help to eliminate excessive gas, reduce intestinal spasms, easy heavy digestion and relieve stomach aches.
Ginger is believed to speed up the movement of food through the GI tract, while also protecting the gut. It may also ease bloating, cramping, and gas.
