MULLEIN is an expectorant, which means it helps the body expel excess mucus, usually by helping make your coughs more productive, to bring up mucus that may be settling in the chest or in the throat. It is also a demulcent. Its flowers and leaves contain mucilage, which coats mucous membranes (the moist linings inside of your respiratory tract) with a film, reducing inflammation.

MARSHMALLOW ROOT  relieves the swelling and irritation of the mucous membranes and calms the respiratory system. Aids in soothing a sore throat.

PEPPERMINT The menthol in peppermint works as a decongestant, shrinking swollen membranes in the nose and making it easier to breathe, and also helps loosen mucus that has collected in the lungs.

YARROW is an anti-catarrhal herb. This means that Yarrow helps to reduce mucous buildup in the body. Yarrow isn’t officially classified as an expectorant, but it can be used alongside true expectorants to help enhance their effects.

CINNAMON is a rich in antioxidants and can help support lungs and respiratory functions.
